Lynda has worked in financial services for over 20 years in a variety of roles from sales support administration through to team leader, office manager, paraplanner and operations manager. Having worked in IFA practices over the years, she has had first-hand experience in working with back office systems and has seen the systems’ capabilities grow as technology has progressed – recognising the importance of ensuring accurate data is recorded in order to present information to clients and the FCA. With advanced technology, firms are now able to use these systems as productive tools rather than simple client databases but it can involve time and effort to reach the required standard. She appreciates the problems firms are faced with in terms of allocating such time-consuming projects and tasks which are still important – but there are no internal staffing resources who can take these on as a priority over day-to-day business. Her aim is to work with the relevant staff in your organisation to help reach this standard.
